If you have this hair you can make plenty of excuses to over-ride my opinion. I'll actually nullify it for you. Here: First of all, I know a hair student who currently has a
Even though I'm pretty low-maintenance I don't really care if you want to experiment with your image. Whatever. turn your hair purple. Defy gravity with the assistance of products called things like "hair glue." Dye it white-blonde or black or flaming red. Cover yourself with ink or poke holes in your tongue. I really don't care, life can use a little variation. But, quite frankly, this particular two-tone comes across as the opposite of class. It's not evoking a rebellious image. Ditto edgy, unique or young.
Maybe I'm the only one who consistently makes a connection between this "look" and this particular

I knew from the start this was going to end with Cruella! Hahaha.
I agree completely. I'm all for experimenting, and goodness knows I probably don't do enough of it in my sometimes dull life, but... let's leave the Cruella hair for Disney movies, mm-kay?
lool i dnt find the hair as offensive as u do. then again, i'm the type that loves to clip pink extensions to my black hair :p.. if it's funky and chic, then i'm all for it lol.
TBH, I think there are very few who can actually pull off the white/black look. While it may be cruel to say, the word that comes to mind when I see girls with it (specifially the 18 and under crowd), is skank. Or Prostitot for the one's under the age of 14.
I think it has less to do with the two hair colours itself, and more to do with the image that girls present when they get it. Like chicky in the top right-hand corner, it's often done for a 'look at me, I'm so hot, I'm edgy and I'm different' along with of course that 'sexy you know you want to bang me' pout.
Plus, you know, it really does look like Cruella Deville.
@Allison, Glad I'm not the only one who sees the connection! Or maybe writing "evil lady" in the title was a give-away? :)
@Amber, I don't know what it is about Cruella hair, in particular, I find so distasteful...
@Kitkat Pink and black: Definitely okay! Just stay away from bleaching part of it out ;).
@Tabs, Probably valid points. But there are other trashy hair-dos I find far more tolerable... And I don't know why. I was just looking at FB pics of a very classy friend who tried to mix white and black hair for a while... And it looked like shit. Dunno why.
When I was in high school, I had highlights put in my hair before prom...and got this look. Instead of embracing the duo colored style, I cried and fixed it. This is not attractive to me either and I will never do this to myself or anyone else.
I agree. I always thought this hair trend was ridiculous. But I think of skunks instead of Cruella.
I just said this the other day!! A waitress at Buffalo wild wings was sporting this look and my friend said she wanted to try it. I said uhh please think again. It's ug!
I am seriously glad I'm not the only one who understand in what bad taste this hair choice is. :)
And, skunk... Yes. I can see that too!
